City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Board of Zoning Adjustment Meetings - Scroll for instructions for each meeting
The City Council of the City of Hoover adopted a Declaration of Emergency on March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Governor of the State of Alabama and the Alabama Department of Public Health has issued several orders in conjunction with COVID-19. The Governors’ orders provide that public meetings may be held via teleconference, videoconference, or other similar means of communication equipment. As allowed by the orders of the Governor and the State of Alabama Department of Health, the City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Board of Zoning Adjustment may utilize teleconference, videoconference, or other similar means of communication to hold its regular monthly meetings during this emergency. The City Council, Planning and Zoning, and Board of Zoning Adjustment will provide notification of the means of presentation of each meeting pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Open Meetings Act.
Meetings during the Declaration of Emergency will take place virtually via Zoom webinar. Citizens and members of the public are invited to attend and ask questions. Please be patient as we work through this new way of conducting business.
This page will be updated with the meeting link a few days prior to the meeting.
